Admission Procedures
All prospective students, including siblings of current students, submit an information sheet for admission. An information sheet is available by contacting the school office. An initial pool of applicants will be created until March 15th, and admittance decisions will be made shortly thereafter. Applications may still be accepted after March 15th if there is space available or if a waiting pool is being generated.
Returning O'Hara students will begin registration for the 2008-2009 school year in February 2008. Once they have registered, other students will be accepted using the following priority:
- Siblings of Catholic parish families with children currently enrolled at O'Hara.
- Non-Catholic siblings of current returning students at O'Hara.
- Children of families from one of the area Catholic parishes who do not have siblings at O'Hara.
- Other members of our community.
Pre-School / Pre-Kindergarten
We currently offer a Pre-School and a Pre-Kindergarten program. Parents may select three, four, or five days a week for either program. The students must also be willing and able to use the toilet independently. Pre-School and Pre-Kindergarten children arrive at the same time as our other students. The day ends at 11:30 AM for our half-time Pre-School students. Our full day Pre-School and Pre-Kindergarten students are dismissed at 2:45PM.
Kindergarten and First Grade Students
Kindergarten students must be five (5) years old on or before September 1st of the year they enter school. Students entering 1st grade must be six (6) years old by September 1st.
