OFFICE OF ADVANCEMENT / FUNDRAISERS
Contact: Mrs. Michelle Meador
O’Hara is an active community with many great fundraisers and events for our families. Each school year we typically have three main fundraisers; Annual Auction, Jog-A-Thon, and Fair Parking. Our Annual Auction is in February and is our largest fundraiser. Jog-A-Thon takes place in the fall and is out only student-led fundraiser for the school. And, lastly, Fair Parking coincides with the Lane County Fair; we provide parking for fair-goers in our field and parking lot. These events are extremely important to O’Hara and help us bring the gap between our tuition and the cost of educating our students. Our fundraisers and other events are put on by many volunteers and our Advancement staff.
With our current situation and COVID-19; our fundraising has pivoted for the 20-21 school year. Fair Parking for 2020 was cancelled. Jog-A-Thon has been moved to the spring of 2021 and we are still determining the best course of action for our Annual Auction.
For more information about our events and fundraising efforts, please visit our support page.

DRESS CODE
O'Hara has a uniform dress code that was designed to foster school pride, to create a non-competitive dress environment, and to be easy for students and parents. Presenting a good appearance shows respect for each other and for one's self. In general, students are to be neat, clean and modest. The O'Hara Catholic School emblem or logo is permitted on clothing; otherwise, clothing is to be free of logos, advertising, pictures or other messages. Clothing should fit properly and allow ease of movement for participation in outdoor and other activities, but not be oversized. All undergarments are to be completely covered.
The complete O'Hara dress code policy is included in the yearly Parent/Student Handbook, and printed, visual guide is available in the front office.
