PRE-KINDERGARTEN INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a faith-filled, enthusiastic Pre-Kindergarten Instructional Assistant who is passionate about supporting early childhood education in a Christ-centered classroom. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, positive team player who works closely with the lead teacher to foster a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the lead teacher in creating a warm, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
- Assist with the implementation of daily lessons, activities, and routines
- Help guide students’ social, emotional, spiritual, and academic development
- Reinforce Catholic values and teachings through daily interactions
- Provide individual and small-group support to students as needed
- Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and maintaining a clean and safe space
- Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, recess, and other school functions
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success
- Foster positive and respectful communication with students, staff, and families
