Our Capital Campaign, A Proud Legacy. A Vision for the Future. has been an ongoing effort since 2019. This campaign marks the culmination of years of planning, prayer, and hard work to develop a long-range vision for our facilities. Our planning goals are to preserve and update our 70+ year old building, create a 21st century learning environment, increase student safety, and carry on a special sense of pride in our facilities for generations to come.
The 2019 campaign assessment demonstrated that addressing deferred maintenance and care for existing facilities is a high priority. With that in mind, school leadership established tiers, starting with funding of the maintenance projects. Taking care of Tier 1 will address the deferred maintenance list and ensure that the bones of the building will be good for another 50+ years. The next tiers reflect short and long-term facility plans and those projects will be completed as funds are available.
The effects of the pandemic did temporarily slow down our efforts with the campaign, but we continued to work on our facilities projects as funds allowed. Please see the bulleted list below for completed projects and goals.
